Rebecca Herwick is the President and CEO of Global Products, Inc., located in St. Peters, Missouri. She is also the CEO and President of Global Products International subsidiaries in Canada and Europe. Global Products manufactures and distributes Harley-Davidson novelties, giftware, head wear and custom products worldwide. Global Products is the only official dealer-exclusive licensee for these products that are sold to over 750 domestic dealers and 600 international dealers. Recently, Rebecca signed on to be a licensee of Ford and will manufacture and distribute decals, emblems and pins for them. In addition, Global will also manufacture and distribute products for Carey Chen Art and Global's own line, Divine Threads (Spiritually flavored novelties and giftware).
Rebecca received her B.S. degree in Chemistry from McKendree College in Lebanon, IL and began her career as a research chemist in 1981. In 1983 she jumped over to become general manager in a motorcycle accessory distribution company. She quickly advanced in her position as she established manufacturing capabilities in 1992. In 1995, after her instrumental involvement in securing the Harley-Davidson license, she was promoted to Vice-President. After a subsequent reorganization in 1999, Rebecca became President and CEO of Global Products, Inc.
Under Rebecca's leadership, Global Products has expanded its international distribution capabilities through the addition of wholly owned subsidiaries located in Munich, Germany and Burlington, Canada. A Pacific Rim subsidiary is being formed to effectively service Global's Asian customers.
Rebecca is passionate about her involvement with the Center for Head Injury Services and the Brain Injury Association, which helps provide employment opportunities for people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. Job carving for people with disabilities is on the forefront of her mission statement. "Employment is a successful component to rehabilitation after a closed head injury."
Being wholly owned and controlled by a woman, Global Products received WBENC certification in March 2002. Rebecca joined the St. Louis WPO in August of 2002 and she became a Platinum WPO member in November of 2002. She is a member of the World Trade Center St. Louis, St. Peters Chamber of Commerce, the SGIA, PPAI, ASI, and American Motorcycle Association.
Rebecca has two sons she is very proud of, James Dean 17,and John David 15, who are preparing to take over the ship when she retires.
